T'is the season for me to stop slacking

So it is getting to that time of the school year: "the hump". I really despise 'the hump' because it is the time when all the projects a haven't done or assignments haven't read come back and slap me in the face. This year I've been way better than in previous years but it has also been different because this year I am married and have a whole nother person to take care of beside myself. Even as I write this I am putting off writing a short essay on the Iconography and Importance of Blood in Maya Culture. Fascinating, yes. Nauseating, yes. Completed, no.

I'm wondering if "the hump" is something only experienced by slacker college students. Feel free to follow my example and whine and moan on my blog about "the hump". Also, if you want to learn about some nasty Maya self-sacrifice I can e-mail my essay to you. With illustrations!

Your a slacker McFly!! Just kidding. I know you work hard and even though you may slack a little you still manage to get good grades.

The mayan paper on blood rituals seemss appropriate considering the season.

I experience the hump in just about everything I attempt to do in my life. The laundry - check (washed, but not put away). The calling - check (met weekly goals, but never got around to the other five million). My kids - check. (went on a mom date with one, but never got around to the others).
I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture.

Anyway, love your blog!

My whole life is a hump, I'm a total slacker except when I'm not.

I want to read all about the Mayan blood rituals, perfect for Halloween...so get writing and publish.

I just feel like I can't talk about the hump in my life. I do want to read the essay when you are done. I'd also like to see some of the art you have made. I hope you get over the the painters block.

Once you're over one hump, another will present itself. Humps are what make the ride interesting ...but hard too. Hope you're over the current hump enjoying the breeze on the way down.
